Humans have always desired to dream,
to journey beyond the great yonder, hoping and yearning to find a purpose in our
minuscule span of a life. We’re chasing an endless dream hoping to find a new
purpose while being chain down by the social burden society has created.
However all dreams must be started it does not begin on its own.
Life is nothing but an endless
struggle. Even i a young 18-years-old senior in school have yet to even find a purpose
in my life so far. All I ever did in school and life so far is worry about
getting into college and trying to find a job to support myself in the future,
but in those moments of struggle and competition we humans have forgotten to
search for what we want, the meaning of life and its’ fun. We have blinded ourselves
from the real journey that we’ll all seek, the social chain that has burdened
us all from searching and flying to our true desire, creating nothing but a
hollow shell of humanity, a human factory building to serve no purpose but an
endless repetitions. For 18 years I too have done nothing but follow the cycle
of meaning less insanity, starting from my adolescence in Vietnam though it was
a third world country the imagination of the children were endless. I dreamed
of being a scientist discovering new elements of nature, or an explorer
searching for the ancient structures of our past. However that was all a dream
since life is a heavy burden, even when I came to America, life was still a
struggle, but still I kept grasping onto the strands of my inner ideals of a
greater life for myself in this new land.
No matter where you are in this
world, the social chain grips all holding them down from freedom of flight,
metaphorically speaking. The daily tussles for basic essentials in life limits
us to nothing but work, getting paid, buy and repeat and cycle of dept and
chains. In spite of all these encroaching strains, we human have still held
fast to our inner beliefs to improve. Even now as I sit here typing this story
of my beliefs, I ponder on the impact of this story on others. No matter your
age, religion, or belief we're all the same. We fight for food and water like
all animal of nature. Except there's one thing that separates us from the beast
within, our hope and dreams. These are the keys to unlocking a future of great
fame and wealth, not wealth as in money, but a wealth of freeing our soul of
its cage in attaining our dreams, no matter how hard or high these dreams fly,
we never stop chasing them.
We all know that life is hard and
there is no such thing as equality, but that doesn't mean it's permanent. We
humans have the power to change the social standard that burdens us all,
creating equilibrium for all gender and beliefs in our small, blue world. All you
have to do is follow your dreams. Forget the social chains that holds us back,
break away from the norm of society and be free to dream and search for what
you desire to achieve in your life. We all must leave a positive foot print in
history for others to follow, creating a utopia of freedom and dreams for all.
Hence why we should never stop chasing our dreams and start to follow them
instead for a greater brighter future.
You have some really profound thoughts here! I hope that you continue to follow your dreams, even when life seems too difficult. Those hardships become our inspiration to better ourselves and better the lives of others.
ReplyDeleteA nice and effective essay because of your word choice. You have a striking last paragraph as well.
